Jinjun Feng

Jinjun Feng (M’94-SM’06) received his Bachelor Degree from Department of Electronic Engineering of Tsinghua University, Beijing, China in 1988, and his Master and Ph.D from Beijing Vacuum Electronics Research Institute (BVERI) in 1990 and 2001, respectively.

He joined BVERI in 1990 where his research focused on vacuum electronic devices including vacuum microelectronics, millimeter wave traveling wave tubes, high frequency vacuum devices using micro-fabrication, gyro-devices etc.

He has been to Lancaster University of UK twice and carried out research on magnetron and klystron as visiting research fellow in 1997 and post-doctor in 2001, respectively. In 2004 he became the deputy Director of the Vacuum Electronics National Laboratory which is the principal center of fundamental research and frontier technology research of RF vacuum devices in China. Dr Feng is the author and co-authors of over 100 papers in domestic and oversea conference proceedings and journals.
